    My own website building

Share a hobby you’ve picked up recently — what got you into it?

    Hi everyone,

I hope you are doing well. I’m also doing great. Today I’m going to talk about the Hobby that I have picked up recently. Let’s deep dive into it.

I have been thinking about building a website for myself. Since I’m so into writing, I thought it’s necessary to build my own website so that I can share my views and perspective with the whole world. And I think, as a human being it is necessary that we keep some footmarks on Earth where people can follow you or at least you can show people that you have worked on something.

What got me into website building?

Simple, I wanted to make myself recognized to the world. I know I have grab over Social Medias, Blogs and now I need a better tool to make myself recognizable.

I have been working on WordPress since 2022. I used it mostly for writing blogs, and also create portfolio for my masters. It helped me a lot to build up an online footprint. During my masters, I have created portfolio’s for the subjects that I have studied. Besides I also had a track of what I was doing with the help of WordPress. Then when I finished my masters, I was thinking about building it further. I thought why not have my own website out of it?

And then I started researching on how to build a website. I could start it with wordpress.com but I’ve found out it’s very limited for the advanced users. It’s not that I am an advanced user but I was also thinking about making my website business portfolio and also create my own online shop someday. So I didn’t use the package provided by the wordpress.com. Instead, I found out WordPress.org is cheaper and more user friendly. But I have to do everything on my own. And the best part of WordPress.org is that it has less limitations in comparison to WordPress.com. It gives full freedom to users, where and how the users want to build their websites.

So I was using Microsoft co-pilot for my research on how to build up a website on wordpress.org. The process was not that very easy because I was completely a new bie. So I first started with the Xamp app. But the Xamp wasn’t the best one for building up a website. Because it crashes a lot and honestly speaking, it was quite a hassle to build a website. Everytime there was an error, I had to almost start from scratch or I had to go through a lot of struggle. Then I asked co-pilot, to provide me an alternative. It’s suggested me to switch to local WP. And it was a bit better from the previous one.

The best part of local WP was that the building of an website and backing up the website was easier in comparison to Xamp app. However, if you don’t have a powerful laptop/computer, local WP can be very sluggish. However, the good thing here is that I have learned a lot about websites and a lot of things in this process.

First, I knew that wordpress.org gives a lot of freedom in terms of plug-ins and woo commerce online webshop building. Then I get to know Kadence block building which helped me a lot to build up my website block by block. Then I get to know backup plug-ins that helped me to migrate my website to Hostinger. When everything was done, I successfully migrated my website to Hostinger. But it was not the end. It was just the beginning. Then I get to know how to use Google analytics, how to set SEO for my website, how to use Jetpack for my WordPress.org website.

Since the beginning of building my website, I’m constantly learning. I also learned something today. Like today, I have researched how to use llms.txt inorder to make my website visible on AI search engines. And I must admit, building my website has taught me about a lot of things.

I must admit that it was a good investment not just in terms of making a good hobby outside of it but also learn a lot of things and how things work.

So that’s how I started my journey of building a website. Thank you very much for reading my post. I hope you liked it. Feel free to subscribe my blog if you like it.

Thank you very much and have a nice day.

  • The G7 summit is more of an AI summit.

The G7 summit has just taking place in France full stop Sims like the G7 is more about the artificial intelligence and its control rather than more of politics. Sounds like there are more people from the artificial intelligence developed her than politicians.

One of the important factors of the G7 summit was that: Europe wants to build its own artificial intelligence and they don’t want any support from the US or any other countries. That is absolutely a good decision from the European Union. I believe the Europeans will develop something really stunning out of its own AI model.

  • Human intelligence has got a new form called “artificial intelligence.”

Humans have a peculiar tendency: we often enjoy taking the long way around a rule to make it feel acceptable. Someone might proudly say they never take bribes, yet if a person is “happy with their work” and offers a gift, they accept it without hesitation. It’s the same action, just wrapped in a nicer story.
Today, while searching for jobs, I was also exploring the ethics of artificial intelligence. And it struck me—AI is built by humans, shaped by our behaviours, our logic, and our loopholes. Naturally, it reflects our habits too.
Take a simple example: when a job application asks, “Do you have prior experience?”
    A factual question. Straightforward.
But I wondered—what if I treat this factual question as a situational one?
So I asked the AI whether this approach would be acceptable.
It replied that it wouldn’t be the right thing to do, but then immediately suggested a workaround:
I could present my teaching experience as interview experience, and therefore frame it as recruitment experience.
    Technically not wrong.
But it’s a perfect demonstration of how an unethical idea can be polished into something that sounds ethical.
That’s the point: no matter how modern we become, our old habit of bending the rules doesn’t disappear. And AI isn’t adding a new dimension to this behaviour—it’s simply reflecting our values back to us in a new form.
Ultimately, I don’t know why I can’t be optimistic about the “AI.”
