Hi everyone, I hope you guys are doing well. I’m also doing well. I’m just a bit tired from travelling and not sleeping well enough. However, today I’m going to talk about the starting of my summer season planting in my garden.
Last year I have planted some plants. It does not plant it on the Earth but given only water and kept on Survival mode. This year I am giving them full freedom just by planting them on soil so that they get more nutrients and grow up faster. Their growth will be tremendous because I have kept them on survival mode for quite a while. Now they will thrive on growth. I pray them immense success.
Apart from it, I am also planting chilli, capsicum, coriander and Basilikum.
Wish me luck.
Fun facts:
1. Do you know that basilicum is one of the relatives of tulsi plant? Well it is.
2. Do you know that your plans grow faster and longer when you keep them on survival mode for a while? Because they become so thirsty for growth when they get the full nutritions they need.

Hi everyone, I hope you guys are doing well. I’m also doing well. I’m just a bit tired from travelling and not sleeping well enough. However, today I’m going to talk about my experiment on coriander seeds. I bought coriander seeds from the local Indian / Nepali/ srilankan Stores.
As an observer, I always try to experiment things. Since I’m really fond of coriander leaves, I thought why not give it a try to experiment whether I can produce it in my garden or not. So, that’s why I am trying to germinate the coriander seeds. Let’s see what happens. I will surely let you know the results.

Planting is fun, right? Well, definitely it is. It is not just fun but also a dopamine booster. You heard it right, dopamine booster. Why? Every time I plant a new plant, sow a new type of seed, or grow roots from a leaf or a branch, it gives me immense pleasure. Because it is fun. Well, not always fun, to be honest. Especially when I moved to Germany, planting became tough. because the weather here is so rough. My plants used to easily die. Either I gave them too much water or the soil used to get too dry. Either I was incapable of recognizing the indoor plants, or I was incapable of taking care of the plants. It became so hectic for me. For the last couple of years, I did not plant any plants. Because they died, and I felt bad.
After all these years, I found innovative ideas to easily take care of the plants, and yes, definitely, I now have a better understanding of the plants. Therefore, I can easily take care of the plants. In fact, I can leave my plants for more than 7 days, and they won’t die. Yes, you heard it right… more than 7 days… It is just that simple now.
So, what is the solution, then? What did I do? Well, not much. I just started planting the indoor plants. Along with it, I just do not spend a single penny on them. I used recycled stuff to take care of them. Well, let’s deep dive into it.
Aquaplanting: The first and the most brilliant idea is aquaplanting. It is the easiest way to do planting. You do not have to take care of the plant at all. All you need to do is just put a bit of water in it after a few days. That’s it. They will be fine. You do not even need to change the water (unless you smell something bad). Normally, it did not occur to me though.
Tips: Want to take a bit of extra care?
Put them near the lamps during the wintertime.
Put coffee (not powder) in the water, or water from powdered eggshells. It will energize the plants.
This is probably the coolest idea I have ever tried. It’s like my tiny mini spider plants are on a coffee date, or they are having a sauna together. Cool, right?
Tips: If the spider plants are too small, they can even float. I just love it, when they float. Looks amazing.
You want to get rid of your flowerpot because you do not plant flowers that often? Well, better recycle by planting on it. You cannot take care much? No worries, put soil in it, and put some powdered eggshell and coffee powder or tea that you drink in the morning. Simple, mix them well, and plant your desired plant that needs less water. I suggest spider plants because they are also good for absorbing the bad air in your rooms. Water them in small portions every once or twice a week, just a little bit of water. They will survive without any hassle.
Recycling is becoming really important day by day, right? Because we are producing so many things that go into nature without even taking proper measures. Well, Germany takes measures, though. Germany recycles almost all types of bottles and glasses. Well? How about other countries? Do they do it? I guess not. So, recycling is necessary. What can you do in this regard? Well, I suggest planting. It is the best way to recycle. I found this cool idea to recycle plastic and glass bottles. It is not a hassle at all.
Ever thought a coffee pot can be a good pot for planting? it’s like these plants are dating, right? Living their dream life with a forever coffee date. Damn! I just love this idea. Every time I see the pot, I think I should write a love story about the plants. I just love this duo. Think twice before getting rid of the coffee pot. Or, I might take them for planting… Haha !
How did I do the coupling? Took a branch from a money plant and took baby plants from spider plants. They both grow roots when they are plucked and put in the water.
Ever thought of mingling plants from different types of plants, where they are not even a match? Well, they are happily cuddling and living a perfect life. Life is not that boring, after all, right? Hell yeah !!
I was quite amazed to see that Sansevierias grow roots even from the leaves. They really do, but it takes quite a while. Mine took almost 2 months to regrow a root. But I felt joy when it grew roots. It was a great pleasure to see the root growing out of the leaf. Hopefully, it will grow into a huge plant someday.
