  • Daisy—the grass flowers

    A bush of grass flowers,

    A gentle breeze blows.

    Dance of the Daisies.

  • Listen to the sound of rain

Listen to the sound of rain

While the wind blows through ripe grain,

The aeolian sounds tell a tale,

When you stand in a gale,

It washes away all your pain.

  • Dear Brother!

    Dear Brother,
    I feel sorry
That I couldn’t be by your side.
    The darkest days you passed,
The scariest secrets no one ever knew.
The pain that you secretly bore.
    I will tell the tales
    That reveals the unsung scars.

    Hear, O universe!
There’s a Hamlet in the town.
He went unrecognised for generations after generations.
    Now that you recognize him,
Heal his wounds, soothe his pains,
All that he has been through.

    Dear God,
    Now that I know,
    I have become my father.
    And I deserve my peace.
“Om Shanti, Om Shanti, Om Shanti.”

    Dear Brother,
I wish we were happy like we used to be,
I wish we could meet in a parallel universe,
Where we would live happily ever after.
    Until then, always remember,
    You have always been loved.
You will always be in my heart.
For there is a place reserved,
Where the roots connect to our ancestors.

  • The Eastern Mystic in the Western World

In a world full of strangeness,
I am merely a mystic traveler.
While I traveled to seek myself,
    I myself became a stranger.
    I travel through time.
    I travel through the line,

    While the world changes,
from an Eastern world to a Western world,
from a postcolonial echo to a postmodern hue,
from a mystic world to a world of desire,
in the realm of reality and desire,
I seek to hold on to my world,
I get swept away in the world,
I try to flow in the world,
I get stuck in my world.

Behold! the Eastern mystic in the western World of desire.
I am the Genie, guardian of the desires,
Tell me seeker, what do you desire?
I desire to belong in the Heart of the Self.
While holding Him in my heart.

  • Why do I love you?

    I love you

    Not that I

    Love you

    Because you are

    Beautiful or attractive.

    Not that when

    You smile, brings

    Me joy, not

    That your eyes

    Tells the tale,

    of my existence.

    But because i

    Seek for

    A connection to

    Make, from the

    Earth to heaven,

    from sorrows to

    joy till the

    day, we live.

  • If I die today?

If I die today, if asks Supreme Lord,

What have you done in all these living years?
I would simply answer the Supreme Lord,
I have learnt to tell the tale of my days.

Every time I told, it just got better.
Every page of my story I have read.
I have not left a page as a reader.
I have read and unread, read and unread.

I’ve tried every way to fit into the puzzle.
Now that I know that I am so unrest,
That reminds me of a missing piece.
From the puzzle, the missing piece isn’t left

But in me and that piece is peace.
OM shanti (peace), Om shanti, OM shanti.

  • Shall I compare you? II

Shall I compare thee to Tinker Bell?

Thou art more charming and more mystical,

Is thy soul eternal that my chest can dwell?

I cherish thee as if something magical.

Thou sipp’st thy black coffee a touch so light,

I feel charmed as if fairy dust were blown.

Thy smile beacons light in my darkest night

An everlasting grace in my heart is sown.

When gazing at thy photo, heartstrings pull,

An ache, a void, as if a piece is gone,

An infinite feeling, so deep and full,

A longing that persists from dusk till dawn.

Thou art a wonder, more than words can tell,

A beauty far surpassing Tinker Bell.

  • Shall I compare you to a Winter’s tale?

Shall I compare you to a winter’s tale?

You are more exquisite and more serene.

Your heavenly presence do shake my hale.

That fills the emptiness of my barren.

Your beauty is like the snow in my yard.

That baffles me when you ruffle your hair.

And gentle blow of cold breeze is released,

That fuels my heart and ignites a flare.

Yet flare makes you shine yet you do not melt.

It parches my heart, but I must be meek.

Like a winter’s tale, a magic is spelt.

When you apply the dark cherry lipstick.

So, long as you smile and shine like white pearl,

So long lives mankind, and this shields your charm.

  • Change? – Haiku

    All my life,

    I craved change.

    Yet change is inevitable.
